Paul has lived in Bewdley all his life, A Town Councillor for 18 years and twice Mayor of Bewdley he cares passionately about his town and has proved his commitment by serving as a Retained Bewdley fire fighter for 35 years, 20 as Officer in Charge and for the past 5 years as a Volunteer Community First Responder with the Ambulance Service attending emergency calls in the Wyre Forest District day and night. He is married to Carol who is also a Town Councillor and past Mayor.

I am delighted to have been selected as the Labour spokesperson for Wribbenhall. During my time as a Town Councillor I have served on all its committees and am at present a representative for Police matters and PACT, the Environment and Town Centre Group and Chairman of the War Memorial group. I am also a member of the Civic Awards committee, the Bewdley Business group, the planning committee and the Staffing group. Carol and I are also the coordinators of the Parish Games and the only councillors who regularly attend TCC meetings.

I work for Age UK and in my spare time I am the Chairman of the Bewdley Branch of the Royal British Legion, the Vice Chair of the Bewdley Carnival Committee, an Executive member of the Civic Society and a member of the Friends of Bewdley Museum and Bewdley in Bloom. I believe our present District Councillors are not doing enough to support Bewdley. Your support would be appreciated.
