“Jamie Shaw has a continuous record of service to the residents of Areley Kings, since first being elected in 1984. Currently, he serves as a Stourport town and Wyre Forest district councillor. He is Leader of the Labour Groups on both councils and was Leader of Wyre Forest District Council for much of the 1990s.

Jamie’s professional life was in Education, as a teacher, and latterly in the county council’s education service. He retired from work in August 2011 and spends his time being an almost full-time councillor.

Jamie and his wife, Josie, have lived in Redstone Lane, Walshes Estate, since 1977. They have two grown-up daughters and enjoy being grandparents.”
