Born in Bromsgrove in 1965; Lives in Lower Lickhill Road and married for 9 years to Allison with two children Adam Luc & Monica Louise. Gary attended Bewdley High School and works at The West Midland Safari Park as the Leisure Duty Manager in the Amusement Area.

Gary is the Lickhill and Mitton Branch Vice Chairman and also currently serving as a Parish Councillor for Rock Parish.

Gary takes the opportunity to attend all local PACT meetings and considers this Police initiative to a very big success.

Gary is very aware of the concern of residents about the underage drinking and anti social behaviour, which blights the local parks at weekends. Whilst he welcomes the greater efforts to police the problem and the visible presence of Community Support Officers in the Lickhill area, he would like the opportunity to work alongside the authorities to tackle the problems. One obvious issue to address is the lack of investment in youth services and affordable leisure activities.

Another issue causing major concern is the number of potholes. Local councillors have done little to deal with the problem, which has left motorist fuming and cyclists, like Gary himself, in danger of being thrown off their bikes!

Gary will campaign to ensure that the County Highways authority gives Stourport’s roads and pavements a fair share of available funding.
