Dan grew up in Kidderminster and attended Comberton Middle and King Charles I schools before going to Lancaster University. He now runs the West Midlands office of Michael Cashman MEP.

 Having previously served on Wyre Forest District Council, Dan believes he has learned a lot about what it takes to be a responsive and effective councillor.

 ”As an elected representative, I believe it’s vital to make sure that you always put the interests of local people first.  “Putting local people first often means working with local people or groups who do not always share your political viewpoint. It’s important to have the strength of character to do this in order to ensure that the local community benefits as a whole. My personal priorities for the Broadwaters ward are: getting the best deal for local schools, cracking down on anti-social behaviour, and working to get the ward cleaner, tidier and safer.”

Dan has been married to his wife Joanna for six years. They have a one-year-old son.
